A green shaker kitchen, built as one room
Muted green, white veined quartz and warm herringbone.
This one started as a building job. We put up the rear extension first and then fitted the kitchen into it, so the island, the tall units and the garden doors were planned around each other from day one. Howdens shaker doors in a soft green, quartz worktops and splashback from Sussex Stoneworks, and brushed brass on every handle and tap.

Strong colour, kept calm.
Green cabinetry can feel heavy in the wrong room. Here the white quartz runs up the wall behind the sink and wraps down the end of the island, so the colour always has something bright to sit against.
Built around the island
The island does three jobs. It holds the hob, it seats two on oak stools, and it leaves a clear route from the garden doors to the sink. Three globe pendants hang low over it, and the tall units opposite take the ovens and the larder so the worktops stay clear.
