A deep blue kitchen in a compact room
Blue shaker, a curved peninsula and brass cup handles.
The room wasn’t big, so every unit had to earn its place. We ran the cabinetry floor to ceiling on one wall for the ovens and larder, wrapped the rest round in a U, and gave the peninsula a curved end so nobody catches a hip on the way past. It was our last kitchen of 2023, finished in time for Christmas.

More storage. Nothing wasted.
Open glazed wall units keep the top of the run light and give somewhere for the things you actually want to see. Everything else goes behind a door.
Small footprint, full-size storage
A white worktop with a fine speckle stops the blue feeling heavy, and the herringbone floor adds warmth underfoot. Two glass dome pendants light the peninsula, and the Belfast sink sits under the window where the light is best.
