A modern bathroom, finished with precision
Fluted walnut, marble effect porcelain, pink herringbone.
Two basins, a separate shower and a built-in bath. The walnut double vanity has a fluted front that catches the light from the pill mirror above it. Marble effect porcelain covers the bath and the walls, and the shower is laid in pink herringbone with brushed brass fittings and lit niches.

One palette, carried through.
Walnut, pale stone and brushed brass repeat across the vanity, the shower and the bath, so each part of the room has its own job but it still reads as one piece.
Herringbone takes planning
Herringbone looks easy and isn’t. It needs a true centre line, careful cuts at every edge, and the niches set out so the pattern runs into them cleanly. It’s slow work, and it’s the bit everybody notices.
